Victorinox Director with one exposed rivet

This 74mm Swiss Army knife is rather special IMHO, never seen one of these before. It’s a Director with the “Feathers” guilloché pattern. But apart from the engraving panel on one of the scales (a bit uncommon in itself), this one has one exposed rivet: the pin holding the non-floating spring (pin nr. 7 in … Read more

Various 93mm alox SAKs

I mainly collect 74mm and 91mm SAKs, but somehow I now own more 93mm alox SAKs than I thought I would. I have bought and sold/traded several more in the past (including a 2010 Damascus Pioneer, colored Classics, Farmers and Cadets, and of course a million Dutch Army Knives), and there is a mint old … Read more

Victorinox Jussi (Ranger)

This “Jussi” Ranger features an authentic design on both front and back scales. It resembles a specific type of traditional Finnish sweater/jumper.

Victorinox soft grip Tinker “Wabenmuster”

Here’s a nice Victorinox Tinker. It has special soft grip scales with a Wabenmuster (honeycomb) design in black/gray. I think the scales are actually cellidor with some kind of rubbery coating. Victorinox introduced the soft grip scales in 2009 with the Climber Road Tour. I think this Tinker, along with a ruby soft grip Spartan, … Read more

American SAKs :)

I bought these two SAKs on a trip to the United States. The one with the stars and stripes scales is a Super Tinker I bought in Portland, Oregon. The Boeing one is a Climber, bought at the Boeing plant in Everett.

Victorinox Windsor with Formspeed logo

I don’t really collect Swiss Army knives with company logos, but this Formspeed Windsor has a guilloché pattern that had never seen before. It looks rather nice with the wavy lines and Swiss cross.

Victorinox X Editions Spartan Lite

In the summer of 2013, Victorinox offered this Spartan Lite with a nice “Neon Cross and Shield Camo print”. It was part of the Festival Ready product range which was only available through the Victorinox X Editions e-boutique in the UK. It was designed in collaboration with Christopher Raeburn and came with a certificate of … Read more

Translucent SAKs, all the existing colors!

I think I (finally) have all different colors of translucent scales that exist. Anyone know of any others? In 91mm, that is? Edit (2020-11-28): there are roughly twice as many translucent scale colors in 91mm, including the Climber Gold edition, green and orange from the Color Twins sets, different shades of teal (for Motorex and … Read more
