Updated Victorinox translucent scale colors
Updated group photo of most of the translucent scale colors, excluding the colors used in the 58mm line. Note that the two onyx SAKs used to be quite different from each other a few years ago or even just two years ago when I took another group pic of several translucent scale colors. They have both faded even more due to exposure to UV light. The pink one is a Rose Edition officer’s knife. That color was very uncommon back

Victorinox Huntsman “William Tell”
This Victorinox Huntsman with ruby scales was introduced in 2004. It has a color image of William Tell (or Wilhelm Tell) and his son on the front scale. It was made to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the William Tell Tell play by Friedrich Schiller from 1804. It’s not the best photo in the world :P And unfortunately the knife is in poor condition. Not only did it arrive very dirty but the main blade has been sharpened a million

Victorinox Huntsman Lite Limited Edition
This is a limited edition Victorinox Huntsman Lite. It is numbered nnnn/1111 and was produced in 2006. The alumin(i)um presentation case also contains a piece of jeans material with a leather belt and a knife chain, and two Swiss postage stamps. There is more info on SAKWiki. One of these had been on my wish list for quite some time when a while back I found one for a good price. And it turned out the seller lived in my

Victorinox translucent scales
Just a quick pic of all different translucent scale colors in my collection. Note that the orange Cybertool (bottom right) is a different shade of orange than the Color Twins Spartan. There are more colors in 58mm, but those do not exist in 91mm as far as I know.

Special Huntsman display knife
This is a pretty unusual SAK. It looks like a Huntsman, but in fact it’s different. I bought it from my friend Marios. On several of my trips to France and Germany, I had seen similar knives but I had never managed to buy one, because these where used as a display piece and were never for sale. So what’s so special about it? First of all, the tool configuration is slightly different. It’s basically a Huntsman with chisel. I

Victorinox Climber – London flagship store
I recently bought this Climber on a trip to London. It is available in the Victorinox Flasghip Store New Bond Street. On the front of the ruby red scales you can see the coordinates where the flagship store is located. The back scale features a (faux) skyline of London, including the Shard, the London Eye and the Tower Bridge. The skyline is printed in white, as is the text on the front. Brunnen, Ibach, Düsseldorf, Rio de Janeiro and São

Translucent SAKs, all the existing colors!
I think I (finally) have all different colors of translucent scales that exist. Anyone know of any others? In 91mm, that is? Edit (2020-11-28): there are roughly twice as many translucent scale colors in 91mm, including the Climber Gold edition, green and orange from the Color Twins sets, different shades of teal (for Motorex and Rittmeyer), translucent black (unlike the two onyx ones in the picture), bright (lime) green for BLS, etc. I do have an updated post on these

Victorinox CyberTool 34 in translucent orange
Translucent orange, how cool is that? :) It’s ridiculously bright compared to the reddish-onyx CyberTool on the left and the ruby SwissFlame on the right.

Victorinox SwissChamp XLT
Another big one, the Victorinox SwissChamp XLT. Basically a SwissChamp with added CyberTool driver and a number of uncommon tools like an electrician’s blade, a small pruning blade and a pharmaceutical spatula. Unfortunately this is the only picture I have and this XLT has already been sold :( Not big enough? Check out the SwissChamp XXLT!
