It’s a question I asked on MTo years ago.
Over the years I’ve bought, traded or otherwise acquired hundreds of SAKs. I’ve also sold, traded, lost and given away dozens or maybe hundreds. For the most part I can remember quite clearly how and when a particular knife was added to the collection or where it went after having fondled with it for a while :)
But a few mysteries remain.
Where did that nice Golfer with divot tool go?
I bought a burgundy De Luxe in 2011 from my, at the time, favourite seller. It’s not in my collecion anymore – I regret selling it even though I don’t remember doing so :)
From that same seller I bought two of those 700 year Wilhelm Tell music cassette boxes. One went to China. But the other one? Do you have it perhaps?
There are pictures of me owning a MiniChamp that has since disappeared.
My EV charging cards have been in a Victorinox sleeve together with a black SwissCard. Where did that SwissCard come from? Nobody knows.
The SwissMemory (only €5! Bargain!) in the photo has vanished into thin air – as has the Tulips Climber.
I once owned a fairly uncommon Spartan Golfer. It’s gone. All there is left is that image on SAKWiki.
