Victorinox Director with one exposed rivet

This 74mm Swiss Army knife is rather special IMHO, never seen one of these before. It’s a Director with the “Feathers” guilloché pattern. But apart from the engraving panel on one of the scales (a bit uncommon in itself), this one has one exposed rivet: the pin holding the non-floating spring (pin nr. 7 in this image) is exposed.

It’s a rather old Director, with Victoria tang stamp and single leaf scissor spring, and the orange peeler blade has no serrations.

Since this is the only one with an exposed rivet I’ve ever seen, I’m starting to think that maybe this knife was once repaired?
